Yaaaaaayyyyyy for Raquel! We got her EBV test results and they continue to go down! They are still high, but heading in the right direction...FINALLY! We do not have to go back for labs for THREE weeks!

We just returned from our first vacation since Raquel's transplant. We went to Key West and Fort Lauderdale. We saw the ocean, drove over the 7 mile bridge, played in the pool, walked ALL OVER Key West, went to Butterfly World and saw alligators at the Swamp Safari. Out of all the new things Raquel saw I would have to say her favorite part was playing in the pool. She was so confident you'd think she could already swim. After about ten minutes of playing in the water she was jumping off the edge into the water...and my arms of course. She even paddled her arms and legs a little. I think she will be swimming before the summer is over.

We have a doctor's appointment on Monday. I cross my fingers and hope that all is still good and that the EBV has continued to go downward since our last blood draw THREE weeks ago!
